Porto, Portugal – March 2nd, 2016: IncBio is proud to announce the successful delivery of a 55,000 MT/year transesterification biodiesel plant to a client in Colombia. This state-of-the-art facility, designed to process locally produced palm oil, features IncBio’s cutting-edge ultrasonic technology and Ion Exchange resin towers for biodiesel purification, ensuring superior efficiency and product quality.
The project, secured in 2014, was delivered on time and met all key performance indicators. The plant’s ability to handle various feedstocks, from crude vegetable oils to used cooking oils and animal fats, makes it one of the most flexible biodiesel production units in the region, capable of producing biodiesel that exceeds the stringent EN14214 and ASTM D6751 standards.
José Marques, CEO of IncBio, commented: “This successful delivery reaffirms IncBio’s leadership in the biodiesel market. By incorporating our ultrasonic technology, the plant is able to maximize yields while minimizing production costs, making it not only a high-performance facility but also a highly profitable one.”
The plant is now fully operational, contributing to sustainable fuel production in South America and showcasing IncBio’s ability to deliver future-proof biodiesel solutions.
