Porto, Portugal – April 11th, 2016: IncBio is proud to announce the successful delivery of an advanced UCO and Category 1 animal fat pre-treatment plant to Enerfuel, part of GALP, in Portugal. This cutting-edge facility is designed to provide the highest-quality feedstock to Enerfuel’s existing biodiesel plant by significantly reducing contamination levels through a sophisticated wet degumming system enhanced by ultrasonic cavitation reactors.
The pre-treatment plant, now fully operational, is the first of its kind in the country, providing the highest standard of feedstock preparation. This ensures compliance with stringent contamination limits, making it a critical component in Enerfuel’s biodiesel production process. The plant is capable of processing Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and Category 1 animal fats, further boosting the sustainability of Enerfuel’s operations.
