Porto, Portugal and Willemstad, Curaçao – December 19th, 2022: IncBio is pleased to announce the successful delivery of a methanol rectification column for Energis NV, part of the Clover Group, at their biodiesel plant in Curaçao. The project, which experienced significant delays due to supply chain disruptions and logistics issues exacerbated by the war in Ukraine, was successfully delivered.
The rectification column ensures that methanol mixed with water from the biodiesel process is fully recovered at a purity level exceeding technical-grade standards, allowing Energis NV to recycle methanol within their process. This system will drastically reduce operational costs by minimizing methanol purchases, one of the largest expenditures after feedstock.
