Porto, Portugal – December 19th, 2013: IncBio, a leading Portuguese engineering company specializing in fully automated ultrasonic biodiesel plants, has secured a new contract to supply a 120,000MT per year ultrasonic transesterification reactor for an undisclosed client in South America. This groundbreaking deal marks another milestone for IncBio in its expansion into international markets and reinforces the company’s position as a pioneer in biodiesel technology.

The ultrasonic reactor will be integrated into an existing biodiesel plant originally supplied by one of the world’s largest biodiesel equipment manufacturers. However, the plant has been struggling with inefficiencies due to outdated technology. The addition of IncBio’s state-of-the-art ultrasonic reactor is expected to drastically enhance the plant’s productivity while reducing operational costs, bringing the facility back to profitability.

José Marques, CEO of IncBio, said: “This contract is further proof of the competitive advantage of our ultrasonic technology. By significantly reducing methanol and catalyst usage, as well as reaction time, we’re giving our clients a solution that ensures both efficiency and financial viability.”

The reactor is expected to be delivered and operational in the first half of 2014, promising a swift return on investment through improved performance and reduced production costs.
